Menhir Salento

Menhir Salento is located in Minervino di Lecce, a village hidden between Maglie and Otranto in the Apulia region, which is covered with rocks carved by salt and wind. Hundreds of stone pillars known as menhirs reminds of human presence here for thousands of years. It was in their honour that the Marangelli family gave their vineyard the name Cantine Menhir Salento. Negroamaro, Malvasia, Primitivo and Primitivo di Manduria grow on old vines. The wines are characterized by a huge intensity of color, aroma and taste. This family-run vineyard has also focused on environmental friendliness and a sustainable agricultural model is implemented on 45 hectares of land. Concern, care and respect for the environment are the main goals that guide the production of wine. The protection of biodiversity and product authenticity are permanent benchmarks in the daily work of the Cantine Menhir Salento team.
