Founded in 1860, Segnana is one of the most legendary Italian brands producing Grappa. Paolo Segnana created one of the few mobile distilleries in history. He installed the distillation apparatus on a horse-drawn cart and began to drive from vineyard to vineyard to obtain freshly squeezed grape marc. Grappa was distilled within twenty-four hours after pressing the grapes, according to the iron law of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
