The owner of Familia Zuccardi, one of the most dynamic and innovative enterprises producing wine in Argentina, has been the Zuccardi family since its inception. The company was founded in 1963, when Don Alberto Zuccardi began to work on creating the perfect irrigation system. There would be no winemaking in Argentina if it wasn't for irrigation with crystal clear water from the Andes. In the same year, Don Alberto planted the first grapes in his vineyard in Maipu. Today, the founder is over 80 years old and he is still looking for ideas for more and more innovative solutions. Jose Alberto is the continuator of Don Alberto’s work. He’s the main wine producer of the Zuccardi family since 1980.
