Ferrari Trento
The company was founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari - an oenologist who sets the model for the best champagne houses, uncompromisingly striving to produce sparkling wines not worse than French in Italy. Since the 1950s, the factory is in the hands of the Lunelli family, who, continuing the work of the founder, keep the company among the leaders of Italian winemaking. Wines are produced using a traditional method, with a secondary fermentation in bottles. Today, the winery is managed by the third generation of the Lunelli family, who combined passion and desire for highest quality with the respect for the habitat, innovation and modern management. Over 120 hectares of vineyards located at the foot of the Dolomites are watched by five viticulturers who train farmers providing grapes to Ferrari Trento how to grow Chardonnay and Pinot Nero to make them best for the production of traditional sparkling wine. The most famous wine of the Trento factory - Ferrari Metodo Classico Trento DOC - is sold today in 50 countries of the world (five million bottles are produced yearly). Among the greats of this world who drank and drink there are: Andy Warhol, Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan and Queen Elizabeth II. Ferrari Trento is a symbol of quality, prestige and luxury. In the Italian parliament, in the Vatican, during the summits of the G8 and in the European Union, during Oscars and Olympic Games they make a toast with Ferrari wines. Giulio Ferrari managed to realize his dream.
