Domaine Laporte
Domaine Laporte is a perfect combination of the work of two well-known families from the Sancerre region. Established in 1850 in Saint-Satur. Domaine Laporte was managed until 1986 by René Laporte, who was a pioneer in the production of wines of extremely high quality. In 1986, Henri Bourgeois bought Domaine Laporte from René, keeping the old vineyard and maintaining an excellent reputation. Domaine Laporte is one of the most-valued estates in the Loire Valley. It has over 74 acres, and the flag Sancerre is considered as one of the best vineyards in the appeal. Currently, the Sancerre vineyard can pride itself on BIO certificate. All wine production is strictly controlled, no pesticides or other chemicals can be used to improve the harvest.
