Domäne Wachau is one of the leading Austrian premium white wines producers and one of the largest vineyards in the country (over 440 hectares in total). Grüner Veltliner viticulture cover more than half of the area. There are also: Riesling, Neuburger (Domäne Wachau is the world's leading wine producer of this variety), Rivaner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Muskateller grown in the area. The vineyards, on both sides of the Danube, are located on steep terraces, reinforced with stone walls, which are a part of the World Cultural Heritage. Growing in such conditions is a huge challenge for winemakers, but thanks to the unique terroir, the wines have a unique character. The company's motto is the care for the highest quality at every stage of production.
